What is everyone's thoughts on the new look schedule?
I personally like to see the step-up schedule in the non-district with Duncan, Ponca, and Enid. I think it will challenge this team early and can only help them toward the end of the season and in some of the bigger games in the regular season.
It will be fun to go to Ada with all of their tradition. I hear about their facilities and look forward to seeing them. By the way, they have a lot of holes to fill and none bigger then at QB, but they will have athlete's.
El Reno for Senior Night may be interesting with the Jays looking to revenge last years loss. The Indians have a lot to replace with graduation and from what I understand did not have great numbers last year (players).
If the Jays take care of business in Weeks 4 and 5 then it should come down to Guthrie - Carl Albert for the District title.

Bri we will get to host 6A Ponca City this year, but next year we will have to travel to Duncan and Ponca City to begin the season (ugh), but will host Enid.
Homecoming was a hassle (most like every year) but more so early on in the season and is a reason why it was pushed back. I like the idea.

Ouch. That sounds like a long start for next year. Look at Shawnee next year. They will have to travel to Bartlesvillle, Jenks, AND Broken Arrow?
