Guthrie Sports Page released its All Decade Team for the Guthrie BlueJay program (2000-2009). Obviously, everyone is going to have a different opinion on their team, position, or an award, but the list shows how great of a program that has been built in Guthrie, Oklahoma. To see the list and read the story you can by going to: www.guthriesportspage.com/News/Football%20All%20Decade%20Team.htm

Oh, very good. I think you left off the losses 2001 to Western Heights.. we win that game, we probably get in the playoffs, we lose 0-6..
2001, the Win over #2 Ranked Carl Albert, where Russell Kicked that 30 yard FG..
I want to say it was 2000, Andrew Knight went 80 yards in an upset win over Pryor for homecoming. It was insane. I'll never forget him breaking free and rushing down the sideline to the rock. I think it was the game winner 27-20 or something like that.

I think you left out two outstanding players (Preston Eaton & Shawn Miller) that dominated during their time but lacked luster because of a bad coaching. Preston shut down running games for 2 different seasons, he would change a complete gameplan after one quarter and Shawn was a lockdown corner. You can't deny these two guys their rightful positions on this list just because coaching during their years and wanted to run draw plays on 4th and 20, or ran a wing t offense that never produced points with possible fullbacks like Sam Morgan or Preston could be leading the way. You didn't even give these guys a mention.

well.. lockdown corners really aren't effected by Prestidge running 4th and 20 draw plays...
